This is the life cycle of a project. The term cycle is a little perplexing in this context. Because you don’t get to be conceived and born again when you die. I believe. Who knows, though. Or you don’t get to design the product again once you hand it over to the client. As a result, it isn’t really a cycle. It’s just a muddled term that they employ. It’s in a logical order. It is the order in which successive phases of a project are completed.

And these phases are specific to your project and requirements. Like the examples I presented previously, a project life cycle can have one or more phases. There is no single method to determine a project’s optimum structure. A feasibility study, for example, may be treated as the first phase of a project by one company, the third phase by another, or it may not be included at all by another.
